Prenatal Support Circle Series

This 5-week Support Circle Series meets weekly to allow you and your partner to create lasting connections to take with you into birth, postpartum and parenthood. This circle offers a safe space to process fears, concerns, hopes and build an empowered and equanimous mindset around birth and the transition to parenthood with the guidance of a skilled facilitator.

Centered around Birthing From Within’s lens of compassion, non-attachment to outcome, and productive processing styles, you will experience excavation of your fears and beliefs surrounding birth and achieve more confidence as you move into the rest of your pregnancy, labor and birthing experience.

Each child will then have their own baby doll to diaper, feed, and hold while they watch a short “Silly Sibling” interactive video. Birthing From Within Workshop

Birth is more than a physical experience. It is a monumental threshold and life-changing experience. A journey into the unknown where parents themselves are “birthed.” This workshop is ideal as both a stand alone class or in conjunction with a more traditional childbirth preparation class (like Must Have Tools for Labor). In two and a half hours together you and your partner will experience:

  • The “Laborinth” - The Birth and Postpartum experience as a Labyrinth.

  • Birth Art : Utilizing guided art processes to tap into your inherent inner resources

  • Examining Beliefs and First Birth Story

  • Breath Awareness Practice and other Non-Focused Awareness Exercises

  • Creation of a “Birth Bundle” - a simple and powerful ritual that will honor and balance mind, body and spirit as you approach birth

  • Community and Support from both peers and Kellie

In the swirl of information you will inevitably find yourselves in as you approach your due date, this workshop will provide grounding, safe, community environment for self-inquiry and holistic birth preparation.
